Photos, A Simple Meal & Stations of the Cross
The St. Mary Fish Fry Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and attendees for their part in the
Lenten Fish Dinner to date! Thanks to a team of more than 100 volunteers,
we served 880 meals
which included 430 pounds of fish, 28 large pizzas, 120 servings of mac&cheese, 3 sheet cakes, and 700 cookies! We hope you enjoyed your meal!
Thank you to Msgr. Mike and Fr. Javier for their blessing and support. We also thank our sponsors for their generous contributions: Maria Lemieux, CPA; Central One Credit Union; New England Coaching; Chiampa Funeral Directors; Knights of Columbus; Atlas Distributing; Creedon and Co.; Lynn Grden, Realtor; Paul Campaniello and Thomas Roque, Mortgage Loan Originator. Many thanks to the restaurants that donated food and beverages – Dean Park Pizza, Panera Bread, The Mill 185, the Marino Family Dunkin Donuts and The Pickle Haus Deli.
To the Fish Fry Committee, thank you for your time and efforts to plan the event, to order and/or secure donations for the food and drinks, to coordinate the team of servers, and to get the word out.
We send a big THANK YOU to the nearly 20 people who prepared, cooked and plated all of the meals. Dinner was delicious!
Thanks to the Boy Scouts who helped with set-up, to the student and adult volunteers who served and bussed tables for the evening. We appreciated the colorful decorations created by the St. Mary School students. Kudos to the SHS Football players and others who helped with cleanup afterward.
Finally, we’d like to say Thank You, Gracias & Merci to all of you who came to enjoy a good meal with your friends and families. We appreciate all of your support (and patience). We hope to see you again next year!
Save the date for Friday, March 6, 2020, for our 10th Annual Lenten Fish Fry.
It promises to be a great one!

Lenten Soup Suppers Begin this Friday
Join us on Friday evenings during Lent – March 15, 22, & 29, April 5 & 12 – at 6:00pm for our Lenten Soup Supper. As we come together for this simple meal of meatless soup and bread, it reminds us how we are called to practice a simpler lifestyle during Lent. Each week will be hosted by a different parish ministry or group, and several different homemade soups will be served beginning at 6:00pm.
A freewill offering will be accepted at the door (a suggested offering is what you would have typically spent on dinner). All proceeds from the soup supper will benefit our Parish Lenten Service Project with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as we package 10,000 meals for hunger relief efforts in Africa.
Stations of the Cross
Also on Friday evenings, we will pray the Stations of the Cross. Praying the Stations of the Cross brings us closer to Christ as we meditate on the great love He showed for us in His most sorrowful Passion! Like the Simple Soup Suppers, the Stations of the Cross will be led by a different group each week. Good Friday, April 19th, Living Stations of the Cross will take place in the Church at 3:30 PM.
